Ideally suited for knitting cosy warm socks with unique colour patterns, but of course also for sweaters, cardigans, hats, gloves, scarves or stuffed toys. The yarn is twisted from four strands and is therefore very durable. Thanks to the superwash treatment, the wool is easy to care for and is machine washable up to 40ᵒC. From one ball of yarn you can knit one pair of socks (up to size 44).
The Opal yarns in the Beauty range are treated with edelweiss extract and vitamin E. Edelweiss is known for its antibacterial and antioxidant properties, and vitamin E also has an antioxidant effect. As a result, the yarn is a joy to use when knitting (and for the feet when making socks!) and it also feels wonderfully soft. The effect remains intact even after several washes.
